Graphpaper presents a new space, “hakushi,” which extracts only the gallery function.
Named “hakushi”—meaning “blank sheet”—to reflect the concept of keeping the space untouched and neutral, it emphasizes the idea that the space only truly comes to life when filled with the works of creators and artists. The focus is on allowing the individuality of the works and their arrangement to complete the space. Free from conventions and preconceived notions, this space is dedicated to exploring various forms, styles, and materials with a sense of boundless creativity. Moving forward, hakushi will host exhibitions of artists from diverse fields such as woodworking, glasswork, and sculpture, as well as specially curated exhibitions. It will also feature a permanent selection of vintage art pieces and furniture.
